Late Registration Feature
True Poker is proud to announce the new Late Registration feature!
This new option allows you to join a tournament that has already started. Late registration never last longer than one hour, and it may vary from tournament to tournament. It allows you, (in some of our multi-table tournaments) to receive chips and a seat even after the first hand has been dealt.
If you’re running late and the tournament you wanted to play has already started, simply check the tournament lobby to see if the late registration is available for that tournament.

Re-buy and Add On Tournaments:
In a Re-buy Tournament additional chips may be purchased any time you are equal to or less than your starting chips in a tournament. The amount of chips you’ll receive when you Re-buy is usually equal to that received with the buy-in amount, although this may change depending on the tournament.
You can also Add On in a Re-buy Tournament during the first break, giving you generally 150% of your original chips, regardless of how many you may still have.
The following options apply to these tournaments:
Re-buy: is the option given to players to buy back into the tournament after the partial or total loss of chips.
The Re-buy period takes place during the first levels of the tournament. The re-buy period usually covers the first hour of the tournament, (until the start of the first break). Once this period is over, no more re-buys are permitted.
Add On: this option gives you the opportunity to receive more chips during an Add On period. You can choose to 'add-on' regardless of how many chips you have. Add Ons can only be done during an Add On period, which is usually during the first break in the tournament.
- Tournament Tickets:
A True Poker Tournament Ticket can be used either to enter a specific Tournament or to enter a Tournament to the value of the Ticket. So, instead of using cash to buy into a tournament, use your Tournament Ticket.
A Tournament Ticket provides a flexible player reward giving you a chance to play a real money tournament, for real money prizes!!!
Currently, tournament tickets will be given if you have already won a seat to a parent through a satellite. You will receive a ticket for the amount of the parent.
All Tournament Tickets have an expiration date which can be found in the Cashier’s record for your account; Click on the TrnyTickets tab.
- New "type it in” Amount box option:
You can use our new “type it in” feature when deciding exactly how much to bet. It‘s easy! Type the exact amount you want to bet or raise in the 'Amount' box, and then just click the 'Bet' or 'Raise' button.
You can still use the slide bar itself to place a bet by simply dragging the bar to the left or right, which will automatically change the betting amount in the “Amount” box.
