VALIDATING YOUR EMAIL

In an ongoing effort to improve the quality of your play on True Poker.com, we are making a few changes to the game and the website. One of these changes is that all players will require validated email addresses to play our games. Validating your email is simple as can be, and we are going to walk you through the steps below:
Here is how you Validate your email
- In the top left of the main True Poker window click on the Menu button, from the menu click on account.
- In the dialog box that opens click on the ‘Nick’ tab. Your nickname, display city, and email address will appear shaded out as well as a Validate email button. If you email is incorrect then go to the ‘Changing your email address’ section of this page.
- Click the validate email button.
- If you don’t have a code or have lost your code click on the ‘Get Code’ button that appears in the next dialog box. An email will be sent to the address specified in the ‘Email’ text box.
- If you do have your code then enter it in the text box provided and click on ‘Submit Code’. You have validated your email and will not have to do it again unless you change your email address or open a new account. If you are having problems with your code see the Validation Code section of this page.
- Once you have the email from True Poker support with the new code follow the above procedures in getting back to the Validate email dialog box and enter the code. Once you click ‘Submit Code’ you will not have to do it again unless you change your email address or open a new account.
Validation Code
If your validation code does not work it is because it is entered in incorrectly, many times the O’s are really zeros or the lowercase L’s are really the numeric digit one. You can cut and paste the code into the game interface, here is how you do it.
- Select the code from the email by clicking just before the first character and dragging your mouse to the end of the last character so just the code is highlighted.
- Right click on the selected code and click on ‘COPY’ from the menu that appears.
- Go to the game interface and in the text box for the code right click an go to paste. The code should appear in the box and click on Submit code*.
*When the code is pasted in the text box there must be no additional spaces, delete any additional spaces.

Changing your email address
In order to Validate your email address your email must be a valid one and you must have access to it. To check or change the address that you have registered with True Poker please follow the below procedure:
- In the top left of the main True Poker window click on the Menu button, from the menu click on account.
- In the dialog box that opens click on the ‘Nick’ tab. Your current nickname, display city, and email address will appear shaded out.
- Click on the ‘Edit Mode’ button in the bottom left of the window and enter your password in the dialog box that pops up.
- Your email address will now appear not shaded, allowing you to change it.
- Once you have changed your address in the text box, click on the ‘Save Info’ button.
- You will be required to validate your email once you have changed it before you can play again on the site.
